HELP question about hks intake w SSQV

I installed the HKS SSQV w/out recirculation fitting on my evo x and im looking for a intake that will work with the SSQV piping that came with the kit. Basically, I want to know if the HKS Racing Suction Reloaded kit for the evo x will work with my SSQV. I assume it will but pictures on websites all show a universal piture, not of the installed kit on the evo. Do i need a catch can like i would with the ams intake? Any comments or suggestions will help.... Any other intake suggestions are also welcome... Thank you!

I have the HKS SSQV VTA with the ETS intake, and just put a blocking plate on the recurcilating hole . . . I've had no issues with ilding or stalling, car runs fine.

...that's not what he asked....

the HKS SSQ kit should work with most intakes as the pipe sits next to/on top of the intake.

Thanks alot for all the info... Looks like im gna go with the AMS intake and HKS ICP.... I'll buy a catch can for the crankcase breather hose and everything should be fine. Plus ive been reading alot of bad reviews on the HKS filters. Thanks again!

you can get the Harman Motive intake it looks exactly like the AMS and it comes with the bungs already and its only 225. then you can run the same setup with the SSQV and save the extra 100 for something else.
