Adjust HKS BOV SSQV

Is there any way to adjust the HKS BOV SSQV sound up or make it louder?
I know there is a way to do it with the SSQV 1st gen, but I cant find a way to do it with the 2nd gen SSQV. Can anyone help or anyone know?

Also, please dont ask me why I installed a BOV.. bla bla bla...

Thanks

There is no way of making it loud...are you running VTA or recirc? VTA will make the BOV sounds much louder. Also, get a tune, it makes your whole car louder lo

it is a recirc...
i heard vta will make the car have a lots of errors/problems so i set it to recirc and i have no prob so far. i installed it last year about this time.
why dont hks make the ver. 2 like ver. 1 so that user can turn up the "volume" at the back -.-

also what inserts did you meant?

only way to make it loud is VTA......unless you go with BOV's with adjustable VTA/Recirc settings like the GFB BOV and VTA only 5%...but is this even really necessary?

You'll eventually through the P1241 code causing limp mode.

and the 1st gen BOVs were NOT adj. for sound.....it had nothing to do with sound. more like pre-tension

Vent it with the original insert and it will be plenty loud. I ran mine for almost a year vented and never once had a single problem. After awhile the chirping started to bother me, so I swapped to a Tial.

many people get away with the ssqv venting and not having problems. It has worked on one of my cars and not the other.

The best way to make it louder is running more boost! My sounds great and 37psi!
even rerouted back in.

Lastly I was told that the version 1 was adjusted from the factory and not to be messed with by the user. that is why they do have it anymore. (from HKS booth at the tokyo auto salon)
