Nisei UICP Fitment

Does anyone have any fitment issues with this piece?

My connection to the compressor outlet pipe is off. I tried loosening all the clamps and bolts and re-adjusting but the two mounting bolts above the intercooler don't allow further adjustment in the direction needed.

I will try and snap a couple pictures.

Do you have any pictures of the connection I'm referring to?

What are you thoughts on this conneciton? I know it's going to look a little off either way because of the diameter difference between the two pipes.

You really have to take your time to get the pipes to fit right. Try losening the claps and shake the intercooler and motor around, then tighen it back up. It took a few tries to get mine to fit properly. Although it is still not perfect.

I attempted to do this over the weekend. After loosening up the clamps I quickly realized it was pointless to do so as the two bolts under the black cover don't allow further adjustments.

This is the 2 piece pipe btw.

Get some pictures up. I think some people are more lenient about fitment than others. I had the 1pc pipe before and the fitment wasn't perfect as the pipe was slightly too far to the right at the point where it bends. No one else really noticed until I pointed it out, but being that I am slightly OCD it always bothered me.

I added pics to the first post. It's hard to get a good angle for pictures, but you should be able to see how much the Nisei pipe is pushed over to the left of the compressor outlet.

Anyone else have close-up pics of their's to compare?

I have the Nisei 1-piece and have exactly the same problem. I called Nisei and got an RMA (return merchandise authorization) but things came up and I never got the chance to take the thing off. If it's causing you problems, they (Nisei) should take care of you. I'll post up pictures if I can find them.

Mine is exactly like that as well - I figured they were all this way so I never mentioned it. I took mine off 3 times trying to refit it but nothing changed. I even left one of the frame bolts off then tried with them both off. The left bend in the pipe is to much. I have the one piece by the way.

Not sure if this effects the performance or not.
