Blouch Performance Dominator 2.5

Sup!

Anyone got any info on this turbo?

47lb compressor apparently, so should spool faster than the Dom2.0.

Cheers
D.

This is what i've read so far from a selling website. But looking at the specs, i'm unsure why the 2.5 would rate 47lb/min. I mean in terms of the potential whp of the turbo can produce, i know it will probably spool much faster than the 2.0. Well, hopefully someone can test this out and post graphs...

BPD 2.5

The Mitsubishi EVO X Dominator 2.5R "full ball bearing" turbocharger features a state-of-the-art Garrett GT compressor design supporting 47 lb/min maximum combined with a race proven GT turbine design in a custom machined Mitsubishi turbine housing. A 20psi upgrade actuator is standard issue on the EVO X 2.5R.

BPD 2.0

The Mitsubishi EVO X Dominator 2.0 is an outstanding performer featuring a proprietary state-of-the-art 52 lb/min Garrett GT compressor wheel (with an unheard of 79% maximum efficiency) combined with a race proven proprietary 11 bladed Garrett turbine wheel all wrapped up in a true Mitsubishi bolt on package. The Dominator 2.0 utilizes the very latest in Extreme duty thrust bearing technology that increases surface area, durability and oil flow to the turbo thrust surfaces.

Just in case you want to compare turbo spool, here's a graph of my Dom2.0 in 4th gear. As you can see, it spools to max boost (1.85 bars) by 3300 RPM and holds all the way till 7000 RPM.

So, is the Blouch 2.5 a new release? There's no mention of it on their website.

If it spools even quicker than the 2.0 then that would be interesting...

Yeah, that would make more sense huh

Cosworth MX1 Cams
Blouch Dominator 2.0
DW800 Injectors
AGP FMIC
AMS UICP
Buschur Intake Pipe with stock box & Cosworth Drop-in filter
Kakimoto Custom 80mm straight exhaust with UR mini muffler test pipe
HKS EVC 6

I actually had to back off on the actuator, it was making too much boost (1.8 bars) without a boost controller. I lowered it so it would peak 1.5 bars giving me more room to play with boost using my EVC.
