You should order it. Post what is in the box when you receive.

Greddy Ti-C is only catback 3' piping

Greddy Comp Ti-C is the full TBE 3.14' piping

Wheen i got my comp Ti-C, I paid 800 picked up, For the the VIII/IX kit, comes with DP thats longers to replace the cat, no need test pip. Then the cat back pipe and the muffler.

I like it so far, like the look of burned muffler tip, sounds really agrressive, deep and loud if the tip resonator is off. With it on, still sounds good but not as good. thinking of trading my just catback with RSR ex-mag catback since I live in California.

One of our local tuner, Bryan@GST said stock O2 should be able to support up to 400whp for the EVO IX. But it is a great foundation for the future upgrades.

99% correct. GReddy TiC CATBACK is 80mm, BUT it tapers to 70mm to fit the cat (which everyone has convinced themselves that it makes a difference)

The Comp TiC is a full 80mm turboback with NO TAPER. It is loud, therefore im going to rocking one of these soon http://www.apexi-usa.com/products/?id=5326

Putting a resonator in defeats the purpose of the exhaust because you'll most likely have to add a bottle neck in the piping in order to quiet it down significantly enough to make a difference.

Thanks for the link,

I am going to look into that too, CHP always follows me and I have my resonator on the whole time. It came off like only twice since the installation I was thinking trading for that reason, now this is another solution for it. I really like TIC looks but love the looks HKS carbon Ti muffler.

here is some links for you and others that don't believe when someone says something.

I apologize if these links aren't acceptable b/c they aren't vendors, but I'm just proving my point.

there are three examples right there. Seems pretty straight forward to me, but what do i know.

If you PM Modern Automotive Performance, they should be able to get you a Perrin TBE for pretty close to 1k.

So i got my Apex'i ECV today, and probably will put it on today as well. The difference between the flange type and piping type is that the flange type is literally a flange with a valve (flapper) in it. You just slide it inline of your existing piping.

The "piping type" actually requires you to cut up and weld the valve into your exhaust. Not ideal for me. I'll post up pics and clips of the install.

Downpipe and O2 housing arent that restrictive anyway.

invidia n1/q300 are NOT turbo-back exhaust, which is what OP is asking about. No DP, no turbo-back. The dp/o2 frees up a decent about of power, especially once you start heavily modifying the car. It's worth the money to get the dp/o2. Ultimate Racing is the cheapest of the 'quality' turbo-back systems. AMS/Perrin/ETS are all good, though more expensive. Choose what you want. Myself, I have UR turboback.

I bought AMS when it was still $900, I had no regrets knowing it was track tested and fitting was down to the nitty gritty exactness, sounds good and make a good difference on the dyno
