Universal HKS SSQV

Is there anything wrong or known issues with using the universal HKS SSQV BOV such as this one;
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-H...QQcmdZViewItem ?

I've noticed there are some like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HKS-S...Q5fCarQ5fParts
whic says it's Evo X specific, so I'm somewhat confused. Of course I'd like to spend less.

Anyone running the universal or know the differences?

Searched for "universal ssqv," found nothing.

Maybe in a YouTube video they do, not in person.

In the two links I posted, are there any differences between the two? The more expensive one(2nd link) says it's Evo X specific. What I'm wondering is if anyone is running the universal one and knows of any issues with it.

The two BOV are exactly the same, however the vehicle specific one comes with what you need to install it, piping, hoses, clamps. The universal one is JUST a BOV. Where as if you buy the universal one you going to have to either custom weld it to the i/c piping or create an aluminum pipe to replace the stock one so you can weld the aluminum flange to it. Your better off just buying the kit really.

The kit won't require welding, right? I think I'll go that route. I don't want to do anything permanent to any part of the car.

Correct. It's a bolt on kit and can easily be reversed..
