Oil coming out of turbo?

My UICP came loose last night while driving and it detached itself from the turbo. I didn't want to deal with it cause it was late so I just drove home with it with no boost.

When I opened my hood, I noticed that oil had been coming out of the turbo outlet. I looked in the upper intercooler pipe and there was a bit of oil in there as well.

Is this normal? I'm thinking it's because since there was no pressure on the compression side the oil return wasn't functioning properly.

It might not be oil from the turbo, but from the PCV that gets routed back to the intake tube. Yeah, should be normal.

I would assume it is oil from the PCV.

What are the pros/cons from oil blow by due to PCV?

I would think it would better protect the parts it gets on from corrosion.
