Already have the Cobb AP, now I need some help

I'm running the off the shelf 93oct stage 1 map and I have zero mods other than the AP. I sold the AMS single tip exhaust because it was way, way too loud and am back to stock. I'm not looking for anymore sound, but I'm looking for more power.

What can I do? Can I get to Cobb stage 2 running the stock exhaust? Maybe run a test pipe/downpipe combo or do I HAVE to upgrade the exhaust?

Thanks,

-X

I would do what Cobb recommends if it were my car. There are quiet exhaust systems out there that you can get in case you didn't know that already.

There are quiet exhausts available, you just didn't do your homework before you bought the AMS. But to answer your question a 02DP/Testpipe will get you better airflow than a catback can. You just need to deal with the smell.
