Is a aftermarket boost controller needed or is the factory BC able to hold boost to redline... Explain the boost pill also thanks... Evo X by the way!!!

 

The factory boost control should hold boost fine with bolt ons/tune. An aftermarket boost control is really only needed in high boost applications.

 

an aftermarket boost controller is never needed with the X until you start pushing REALLY high power... like I dunno 500+.

The boost pill is a little ball in a vacuum line that restricts the flow of air. It allows for finer control of the boost.
