Review: Spec Stage 2+
I just drove the evo home with the new SPEC stage 2+ clutch, ACT streetlite flywheel, and AMS c-clip installed. First I obviously haven't driven it hard since it isn't broken in yet, but it does seem to grab a lot quicker and smoother. The shifts aren't has hard and there is not notchiness at all, which may be a result of changing to amsoil in the transmission. The pedal pressure feels almost identical to the stock clutch if not lighter and it grabs a little lower than before. Also as of the first 30 miles I haven't heard any chatter.
The guys at JMS racing were awesome. They took the car with short notice and got the install done pretty damn quick. When I went to pick the car up they were very informative and explained exactly what they did and then went on a test drive with me to ensure it felt good to me, which it did. But the best part was they cleaned the **** out of my engine bay, it looks better than the day i bought it. All in all the clutch seems to be a good upgrade and the guys at JMS were awesome as usual. I highly recommend anyone in the San Antonio area to hit them up and everybody should get a clutch upgrade as a first mode.
On a side note they said my stock clutch look worn out, I'll post pics up tomorrow of it.

I paid $850 for the clutch and flywheel from a vendor. All in all I think I'm one of the first to try the SPEC out, but I have a feeling it will hold up fine for my application. If you have a question about the JMS you should be able to reach JMS Racing through PM, his username is Nissan2Evo.

lol..it did happen master Tephra! I think I snapped some pics of it after it was cleaned..but it was already dark out
We always clean engine bays after doing installs for customers..just helps make it look that much better. Turn around time is about 1/2 day for us with Evo X clutches and c-clip install.
Thanks again Larry for the kind words an support!
