UR dp vs ams dp
That would be hard press to find, the same car, the same dyno, the same day......I doubt anyone would or have performed two O2/Downpipe installs in one day just to see the dyno results from two manufacturers. The installation of the O2/Downpipes is too much of a pain to pull that off. But it would be nice to see.
You can't really call the UR piece a widemouth downpipe. Reason being is that the opening is divided. It's hard to compare the two without placing them side by side but the opening on the AMS unit is MASSIVE compared to ANY other downpipe on the market.
Also recently we made the back section of the pipe cast as well to prevent any possibility of cracking on the pipe. This piece is built to outlast the car and flow as much air as possible...plain and simple

We have found by letting the wastegate gases in later in stream prevents turbulence and allows for a smoother exhaust flow.
We can also build the pipe recirculate or atmospheric dump for the same price.

I was thinking of going with the UR Titanium Dual Catback + Mini Muffler Midpipe+ HF Metal Substrate Cat with the AMS Downpipe. I like the AMS downpipe and the UR one as well but I like the cast DP.
Do I have this right? will this all match up? I may go with UR or AMS all the way, but Im a fan of Canadian Companies and wish to support them and I love the UR dual catback instead of the Odd AMS one. No offense. So would going with the AMS Cast DP matching it up with teh UR CB+Midpipe+cat work?

In theory, everything should match up correctly, due to almost every manufacturers matching their measurements to OEM specs, so you can upgrade in either peices or in stages.
Now in reality, some peices might not match up exactly, but they should be close enough.
I was going to mix and match peices to save a little money, but I ended up going with AMS from the turbo back to eliminate any future headaches.

I'll chime in since I've run two different types of o2 housing dp on my X. I originally ran the T1R o2 housing dp with tbe, 3.5 AGP FMIC, licp, uicp, Cobb turbo inlet, and Works drop-in filter, with a custom tune. It posted 335whp/360ft-lb on their Mustang dyno.
Fast forward 4 months I replaced the T1R unit with the AMS piece and another custom tune. Other than the o2 housing, nothing's been changed. On the same dyno, it posted 342whp/349ft-lb. I'll try to post both dyno charts concerning the two separate tunes. With the AMS piece it actually picked up hp all the way up to redline. With the T1R piece it's low to mid-range was better it seems. However, with the current tune the turbo's peaking at 24.5psi whereas before it was peaking at 25.5psi.
The AMS o2 unit is HUGE...I can put my fist into it. I'm assuming the o2 piece won't be used to it's full advantage till a upgraded turbo gets installed. Might be a little overkill for now but I'll look it as one less piece I'll have to upgrade when the time comes for a new turbo.
