Which Exhaust Do You Recommend?
yea I still have the cat and stock dp. It is a little loud compared to similar exhausts, but you dont really notice it in cabin if youre not going WOT and it has a V6 growl which I love.
After driving with the T1R for the past week, I really like it. You cam tell
you have a high flow exhaust but it is very quiet at steady state cruise. If you get on or off thengas you can hear it but if you are cruising steady it sounds like stock.
Quality and fit is top notch. Overall I'm totally satisfied with the exhaust.

Sorry for all the typos above....damm iPhone.
I currently have just the cat back. I have a Mil.Spec HF cat and AMS Widemouth DP coming next week. I assume that will add some more sound so I wanted to start as quiet as possible.
The exhaust has a nice deep tone to it. It is definitely not "stock" sounding but it is not loud either. The only time you can't hear it from in the car is at steady state cruise. Any slight acceleration or deceleration you will hear it but it's not intrusive.
There is a big difference in products manufactured in a ISO9000 factory compared to most shop-built systems (although I have seen some quality TIG welded products from shops that take the time to building and dedicate the space for the appropriate fabrication jigs). Everything fits like OEM. While installing some of the domestic shop-built exhausts in the past, I have not been impressed with the welding or fitment. I had rattles and had to keep unbolting and adjusting things until they went away (or not). This exhuast was one of the simplest installations I've done. No adjustments neccessary. It fit like a glove.

I hate to sound like a walking and talking advert but the Buschur Racing Crossflow is very close to stock. I'm willing to bet it's about as close as you'll get for an aftermarket system. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I am more than happy with the exhaust as I needed something that was extremely quiet as well.
