Did anyone try the 'GUS MOD' on the EVO X BOV???

Here is a how to: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...it-mr-bov.html

I am wondering if this would work for the X. What the driveability would be like and if it would work as well for the X as it does for the previous Evo's.

Well actually. When I put everything on it. It worked well. But I am getting horrible boost spike to like 30 psi for a 26psi tune. I was tuned on a FORGE RS BOV for 26-26.5 PSI. But with this GFB BOV I am spiking to almost 30 psi.... I am not sure if its the BOV or what. So I am doing testing. The COBB AP PSI is the same as my boost gauge. Both were showing something like 29-30 psi with GFB. I switched to stock I am down to 26 PSI. So right now I am not sure if the FORGE RS bov I had before sucked and leaked just like the stocker. So I am not sure if this one is doing too good of a job sealing everything in.

Eitherway, right now I am running a bit of testing. I am planning on switching to ECUFLASH once I get a cams (Cosworth MX1 + Springs) and a new exhaust manifold (Steepspeed). So probably then I will go back to the GFB BOV. But right now I can't edit the Protune tables.

So right now I am testing the stock BOV and maybe do this mod to do a drive ability test. I don't know. These cars are just so picky when it comes to BOV/DV.

I am debating doing this mod. Because if anything I can make it so it works like a stocker when I need it to with some stopcock valves. Decisions...

Thanks It's really a hit or a miss. No guarantee the new one will hold anymore than this one. I have this one crushed slightly, very minimal. Seems to be okay so far. But I don't want to push and then have flutter.
