Just wondering since there has been other guides on here... I haven't seen much on the different turbos though, there's the green, the red, the T series, etc. etc... sort of confusing if you don't know much about them.

ive never seen a guide but I can tell you a few things. Forced performance makes the red and the green, the green is usually for 400 hp applications, and the red is for big power like around 500 HP, and there are many other brands and sizes in between, but what power are you looking to make?

ummm, i'm not really sure yet, I guess that's why I was wondering what turbos do what... which one spools quicker? Which ones will provide more top end? Is there one that is the best of both worlds.. perhaps one that around town driving doesn't do to much, and saves some gas, but when you want to open up at the track it does what is needed. One more reliable than another? etc. I suppose that's why I was asking if there was a guide... or perhaps a site I could read about all of the different applications. I definitely doubt i'd be wanting to go over 400hp by much, if any.

HA! You say that now! I have 360whp and I've already gotten used to it. Mods are below, but if I added the FP Red + DP + cams I would be over 400whp easy.

Just sayin' it never ends...

yeah, I know it gets addicting... I can't imagine going to another car now... how boring it must be to get something slower

So, would someone mind posting a little info about a few turbos? Maybe we could get a sticky for people who are interested in them, but don't know what would be best for them. I'd do some research, but i'd rather others with first hand knowledge of each type put their 2 cents in.
