AMS Short Ram Black Powder Wrinkle Coated FTMFW!!

Thanks for kicking this thread off! Wouldn't mind some personal insights on each of them, from EVOM.net members who may have one of the above.

the hks intake offered on the hks site is not the one pictured, it has a different mesh over the filter, and looks way better imo. that one looks like the one on my cousin's evo 8.

i have read incredible results from the AEM one, but does it work w/ all the aftermarket lower ic pipes or is that not an issue?

From what I have read on here some guys have done some tests and unless you are at 350-400 hp the intake does very little as far as power gains... maybe that has changed now. They claim you are better off with a good drop in. I bought a green filter, but i'm waiting to get a few more mods and to get a retune since I don't have the money to buy 1 part and have it tuned each time.

AMS lower ic will not work with AEM, or factory, or any box type intakes. I guess the ARC too. something about fitment issue.

Is what I'm rockin. I like that it comes with the uicp. The wooosh and pppsshhhh makes me boost more often, and burn more gas.

Found it here pretty cheap, and Vivid Racing beat it....http://www.fredbeansparts.com/servle...Typhoon/Detail

Updated to include AGP and Takeda. I also added a drop-in section. Keep-em coming and I'll keep adding them.
