Found this on japanparts.com, do you guys think it will fit a USDM Evo X. If so it looks like a great kit. Even comes with a switch.
Here is the link to the page
it is part numbers 330-038-001 threw 330-038-009 and 330-029-001

What he said. You will not see any gains from this unless it is an EXTREMELY hot day, even then, its questionable.

You don't think Mitsubishi did any engineering when they designed this part or what? They just wanted to add some weight and additional cost to the vehicle?

Looking at the prices, I think you would be better off going with an NX intercooler sprayer. CO2 or NO2 would have a better cooling effect than just water.

keep in mind that CO2 spray can get sucked into your intake if you spray at low speeds...

a quality intercooler is a much better investment. even the co2/no2 sprayers barely do anything.

Yeah on the street i've never really used it.

On the track I went through 6 litres in 3 laps... that's when I had the IX with my spray on knock...

I wouldn't go out of my way to install it on a car that didn't already have it... Much better other things to spend money on..

Spraying the intercooler does show results >> Brandons Evo @ MOD '09. Spend that money on a trusted intercooler and you wont need to spray or refill bottles.
