test pipe design differences??
Some follow the exact path of the stock piece with the small bend and some are straight with angled flanges. In theory, the completely straight pipe would flow better, but it's a short section of pipe and the small bend probably shows no difference in flow/power.
Yes they are all direct replacements for the stock cat pipe.

Basically the straight ones sometimes can come really close to the drive line and can cause vibrations.

Ah also good to know, I bought mine used so no dig deal if I decide not to use it... Its an ultimate racing piece with cel fix.. hopefully it does okay for the first few months...
The strait ones do NOT hang lower.
The strait ones do come dangerously close to the driveshaft heat shield (in my case)
Depending on the exhaust you may have issues with a strange vibration
In my opinion the problem with the vibration was due to my exact combination of exhaust parts from two specific manufacturers, ETS catback and AMS downpipe/testpipe.
I'm sure both companies tested their full turbobacks before selling them, I just purchased from separate companies because I liked the idea of cast downpipe, strait test pipe, and the whole adjustable exhaust tuning thing didnt fancy me..
