Meth and NO2
I am running fp red on 29 psi with aem meth kit with 50/50 meth, upgraded pump and 800cc injectors, cams...., (dynoed 390 whp and 330wtq)
and would like to run 35-50 shot to help on the spool and upper the hp.
do i have to tune again if i am running a "small shot" on a wet NO2 kit? retard timing needed? how do i tune for a no2 kit if i am not running it all the time. can i just keep the existing timing?
do you guys think it is ok to run meth and nos on the same car.
which kit would you guys recommend on my application?
thanks guys.

Use ECUflash or CobbAP to flash between maps, 1 w/ Nitrous, 1 w/o nitrous

i am looking at zex turbo application set up.
http://www.zex.com/Pages/84/Turbo-Equipped.aspx
the kit will cut no2 once the boost hit a set amount of psi. on top of that, i will run a window switch probably between 2500-5000 rpm. so there are 3 things to control the no2 : boost psi, rpm and it has to be full throttle.

You need a tune if you are planning to run any nitrous.
And as far as your window switch and boost-specific initiation of the shot you are on the right track and taking the right precautions.
However; as the old adage goes "It's all in the tune" is never more true than when tuning for nitrous on a turbocharged application.
You will need to adjust more parameters than just timing if you want to be safe AND make optimal power with said shot being used.
I, just as you am planning on running nitrous with my setup as well. However I have a built motor and feel a little more comfortable doing so...
DRAG is a member on here that you should PM and speak with personally about any questions you have being that he has used nitrous on his own evo x.
Hope I helped man, GL!

And I would choose a direct port setup over a single fogger setup, for 2 reasons. You will make more power AND make it in a safer was as well.
