acceleration problems

Im having issues lately. When i step on the gas, the rpms shoot up 1000(from where my rpms are) and go back down to what they were when i steped on the gas. It almost sounds like my car is an automatic when the over drive kicks in... My clutch shouldnt be slipping but then again im not 100%. This happens in any gear at any rpms. My car only has 2300 miles so i doubt the transmission is slipping either.

Anyone have a clue?

you're probably going to have to get back to DG motors and have them take a look at it... with 2300 miles, you couldn't have possibly blown your clutch unless you were constantly beating the car...

I have over 15K miles with the stock clutch and it's still going strong with an OTS stage 1 from my cobb ap.

Definitely drivetrain, most likely the clutch. Go back to the DGmotors and see what they think on the test drive. Did you ever adjust the clutch pedal? Does it feel like there is some free play at the top of the pedal throw? I am asking because maybe the clutch is partially engaged when your foot is off the pedal, this could cause the RPMs to rise, and eventually fall when it warmed up enough or just grabbed up. Does it do it in all gears, or only when you are really getting on it? Could have also been a defective stock clutch or something and throwing more power at it just exacerbated the problem. Either way, without a warranty it sounds like some $$$. Good luck.
