It this just my clutch slipping??

So my car has been getting absolutely horrible gas mileage first of all....there are about 37k miles on the car....
Around 3-4k rpms when i put on the gas a bit and the turbo spools, the rpms shoot up a couple grand or so and (when im not going any faster) and then come back down really quick and seems to catch. Also the car seems a bit slower lately. Only mods are intake, catback, mbc, and zchip (ya i know). Is it safe to say i need a new clutch?

Ya that's my thoughts. Any recommendations on a good daily driving clutch for those mods?

I just went through this last week actually. Its the exact issue I had. Clutch is fried and flywheel is cooked.

I am not doing any more work. My mods are: 3" catless turboback, AgencyPower Intake, HKS SSQV & AP BOV tube, UICP and an open source dyno tune. I am going with the A.C.T. ME1HDSS clutch and most likely the A.C.T. StreetLite. Possibly the Fidanza flywheel but the ACT is 11 lbs vs. Fidanza @ 9lbs. The ACT is more streetable for my daily driver but the Fidanza is fully serviceable, so if it fries again, just the contact plate can be swapped out for far less $$

You can replace the disk on ACT clutches also

Definitely the clutch. For those mods I recommend the ACT ME1-HDSS.

Yeah clutch is gone, stick to just an upgraded disc like an ACT.
