This is the evo market right? I love the sound of our Dual Exhaust.

Your prices have gone up from a few years ago. You sort of went "premium" on us.
$2000 = $3000 gross pay = $1.50 per hour for a year. That's a few car payments.

(I know, I sound like a cheap ***)

I will post some pics of the TXS exhaust as soon as I can, but we've installed 4 or 5 of their X systems over the past month or two.

It helps that they're next door to us.

We've done a few other exhaust, HKS, Tsuedo?, and Ultimate.

Hands down, the TXS is the best so far. We run one on our shop X as it's the best fitting, best sounding, no frills exhaust we've dealt with for the X.

We have their full turboback on our car and love it. Fit is perfect, sound is perfect. Love it. It's a built motor with lots of bolt ons, waiting for the AMS 35r kit, but it's not too loud as some of the older TXS stuff was.

I'll get some pics up as soon as I can. They even made one for a customer's Ralliart and it's perfect.

That's awesome to hear such a positive review of the TXS system. I was so close to buying the TBE. It's a damn shame I have to let go of my X... I had such a long christmas list of parts I wanted...

There is someone on EvolutionX forums who has this installed and a few vids...

Only reason I hesitate getting one is the lack of 02 housing replacement

I know Works is working on a 3" cast replacement 02m but I havent heard of any updates recently

I got the catback and HFC coming for less than $675. I'm hoping that this is the best bang for the buck for a stainless, dual exit system. I can't wait.

What rubs? What do you need to do to correct it?

Other than rubbing, how do you like it? Please give us your review; positive and negative. Thanks.

It's always a little strange going from a factory exhaust to one that has a bit of a rumble, but it's not THAT much of a rumble. It's pretty quiet actually. It's got some tone that sounds good though. The rub is where the drive shaft bracket is... I was told that it happens to most people with some aftermarket exhausts and that a piece of heat resistant foam will solve this problem. The welds are solid, the quality is overall good. The power is more when it comes to mid to upper range power.

Methodical -we spoke via PM. Can you let us know if you got this straightened out (heh, heh, pardon the pun). Also where does one find this heat resistant foam? I shall google. On my VIII, I chose to wrap the DC sports DP with heat wrap where it touched the transfer case.

I have not looked at it yet.. it's about 20 degrees out right now and my garage isn't insulated. I will look at it soon and try to take some pics of where it is rubbing and what I do to fix the issue.

Same here. Quality looks excellent, but the price is just too steep so I went another direction.

Direct Replacement?

Is this TBE system from TXS a direct bolt on replacement? All the bungs for all sensors are in place?
