The bellmouth housing - This is attached to the turbo (which we all call 02 housing) is designed mainly for a RHD Evo where its close to the steering rod and therefore scrunched aka harsh bends that affect flow. In our LHD cars, we don't have to worry about this and so manufacturers can make them wider and less constricted.

AMS tested the downpipe and proved it made 0 hp increase and they said this is a well-made factory piece. It is 2.36" ID and is short and just one bend and flows well.

Who knows - This is EvoM. I find it hard to sift thru all the fluff and find legit information...
I don't know, i've read that it did increase hp, but also read that it did very litte to nothing.

The exhaust port / hole that it exits out of the back of the stock turbo is small. The factory bellmouth has a diameter that is larger than the turbo's hole. The down pipe is bigger than the exit hole of the bellmouth. So I can see how it doesn't affect much.

That being said, I just ordered my exhaust (from spun) and I got the dp because it's basically free. The price of the separate test pipe and cat back are the same as a full tb. I'm not sure if I'll install the dp yet, judging by Methodical4u's experience.

i'll be honest, if it doesn't yield results, then I wouldn't go through the hassle.. however, the DP and factory exhaust are different sizes, and so the bolts and such didn't line right up for me, so you might want to put it on for that if nothing else.

I got under the car and searched for a few ways I could get the bolt to stop rubbing, but at the advice of another poster on another thread I wound up removing the bolt, getting out the sawsall and cutting the bolt off flush. There is no more issue and it being cut off doesn't hurt anything, occasionally I hear the heat shield vibrate from underneath. I think some people take off the heat shields, but a little vibration won't hurt anything. Anyway, that is the best way I would suggest dealing with it.

Is there any drone with this exhaust at 40 mph or highway speeds?

no there isn't, it's a rather quiet exhaust... not much louder than stock.

At 70-75 mph, you can hear the exhaust, but it's not bothersome. But at 80 it starts to get loud. Thats the point in a GSR where you hit ~4000 RPM. I would guess that an MR can go faster before it hits this RPM.

I put on this TBE about 3 months ago, and love it, made great power with intake and cobb flash

Fits great, had the downpipe on a little twisted at first making it all crooked, but just loosened it and turned it straight.

there isnt much droning with this exhaust, at about 80 like Golden said it gets noticeable but thats pretty high in RPMs with the stock GSR gearing

Heres a dyno vid with the turboxs turbo-back and test pipe

The company advertises some impressive HP gains (30-40 whp with full turboback). For those with this exhaust, is this consistent with your experience?
