Hey guys I just wanted to let you all in on a little project I have been putting together here. Basically this kit will add an inline Walbro 255lph fuel pump to the factory fuel system. There is no cutting of the factory fuel lines required, everything is plug and play, you don't even have to pull the fuel pump sending unit out to install it.

The system will be good for around 550-600 whp, we have already installed the system on two cars here that have made 450 whp on E85.

What do you guys think? Is this something you would be interested in?

I am not sure of pricing yet. However I will be doing everything to keep it very reasonable. I think I will leave the kit at kind of a DIY status, as in you cut the hose to length and put the fittings on yourself. Its not hard to do but will help keep the price down. I will report back when I get some pricing.

thats a big 10 4 to this diy kit from AMS , just saw the buschur dbl pumper unit but grrh mucho expensive and id rather put this stuff inline anyway , AMS come thru with this KIT

I've been running this kit since August with no issue (except for the broken drivetrain parts ) I think it will easily support higher power levels, even on E85. I hope to push it to 500whp next time.

So instead of ditching the factory pump and replacing it with an in-tank, you are using the factory pump as is to help an inline Walbro. Do they really support more HP when in series like that?

 

AMS it would be good if you too could offer a E85 solution, with E85 resistant hoses and filters and higher flowing pumps.

 

The Walbro fuel pump by itself can support about 500 horsepower, being supplied with pressurized fuel at the inlet raises that number substantially.

This kit has no issues with E85, we have it on two cars already with E85. The hose included has been used on many other cars with E85 and race gas and we haven't had any problems. I am thinking we will have a SS hose option for those that want to go that route, it is a little harder to work with though.
