Flywheel before/after

Well after 5xxxmiles my clutch was slipping. So over the weekend i decided to change my clutch. After taking out the transmission and the clutch i saw the flywheel and it was F'd up, so i decided to take some pics of it. Here are some before and after pics of my flywheel.

Can I see the back side? I ask because I have 2 stock flywheels here... one is arguably ruined because it has blued all the way to the backside, the other seems fine.

RRE actually has some really good info on flywheel resurfacing specifics here: http://www.roadraceengineering.com/c...ywheeltech.htm

A machinist isn't going to care about those minor things, he's just going to throw it on the grinder and throw it back at you once it's done.

I'll post some photos of what I've got lying here... it's pretty amazing how terrible the flywheel with only 3500 miles on it is.

These are cleaned off somewhat, but you get the idea...

Left is 4500 miles and tons of abuse, right has almost 18000 miles.

Bottom shots - the left one is clearly ruined IMHO...

And that's a cheap throw rug that I've gotten clutch dust all over, not to worry. lol

^I was thinking the same thing. I've had mine for over a year, stock clutch and tires.

Well... I drove the same on the 2nd flywheel shown on the right which already had 7500-8000 miles on it, so I'm thoroughly convinced somebody smoked the clutch on my Evo while it was on the lot. Idiots... Oh well, it's all better now.

It's 13 lb-ft for the clutch pressure plate, in a star pattern, and 96 lb-ft for the flywheel as follows:
