Oil cooler, which is better ?

Known to me oil coolers:

HKS - ADDITIONAL oil cooler, passenger side
BLITZ RD - ADDITIONAL oil cooler, passenger side
BLITZ RS - ADDITIONAL oil cooler, driver side (not sure)
ARC - STOCK EXCHANGE, passenger side
COLTSPEED - STOCK EXCHANGE, passenger side

Your opinions ?

You should run 3!

ARC replacement, HKS additional and Blitz RS additional on driver side!

Just kidding.

I dunno the answer.

I believe Colt Speed is made by ARC, and the Blitz driverside one is for the SST cooler. Out of the ones you listed, I'd run HKS. Though I'll probably custom make one myself.

Nice ductwork there too! Likely unless you are in hot climates and tend to push the car at 100% on road courses for over 15 min I doubt most will need an oil cooler upgrade though. Still it's a somewhat inexpensive mod for better longevity of the engine so you can't go too wrong with an upgrade like this.

Making sure your coolant temps are in check is something I would recommend as well since coolant temps at 210 F versus 190 F can impact how hot your oil gets as well.

i am also considering installing an additional oil cooler to get my oil temps down on the track but all these name brand solutions are EXPENSIVE.

any cheaper, good quality alternatives out there? what do i need to make a custom setup?
