Looky Looky what just came in!!!

So I've been wanting to buy a new turbo for my 08 MR now for a bit, and finally broke down. Looky Looky what showed up at my door about 30 min ago via UPS! Thanks goes to Tom @ Spun Autosports for the good deal on it. I also picked up a Forge WGA w/Red Spring off a local EVOm.net member (thanks Javier!). Hoping to make some good power on this. Its my DD so I thought the DOM 2 would be best fit for power and DD on 91. Wish me luck with my tune next week with Bryan@GST!

Heres what ill be tuning with:
- Blouch Dom 2.0 w/Forge WGA
- UICP, LICP
- Harman Motive Short Ram Intake
- Perrin FMIC
- ATP 3" Compressor Inlet and Outlet Adapters
- 1000cc DW Injectors
- Walbro 255L FP w/JEGS Inline HF Fuel Filter
- Ultimate Racing Titanium Twin Tip TBE with Long o2 DP & HFC
- ETS Exhaust Manifold w/JetCoat 2200
- GST 3port Boost Solenoid
- HKS M-Series Spark Plugs (1 Step Colder)

Heres some pics (sorry there from my BB Tour):

Thanks Jav, ya should be interesting! I think you'll still make more power (prob +10whp) with the double pumper your running. Your able to run more fuel which I have a feeling im going to be maxing out the single 255 im running just to get close to you!

Should be fun though. We will def have two of the fastest MR's in the Bay Area!

We'll have to go for a drive once I'm all up and running. RR & WW FTMFW!!!

EDIT:

Hey Jav, I just picked up an ETS Exhaust Mani with JetCoating 2200 (Thanks to Justing @ Force Fed great guy, sorry bout all the PM's Justin ). Well see if i can make the same power, but a bit quicker in the RPM with it!?

You bastard

I'm actually looking at the steed speed one but that is gonna require a lot more work with the EWG design. I'll be out of town over the holidays but in january I'd definitely be down for a ride!

Really hoping to get a better/quicker spool time for the DOM 2. Really don't expect too much in terms of overall HP/TQ.

You should do cams!

Save yourself some headaches and don't even look at EWG for those turbos.

Thats what I figured. Internal should be good enough. Hey Bryan, do you think I should be good with the single 255L pump for now with everything above?

Less after the EWG and more after the mani gains.... maybe steed speed makes a non-EWG mani? I'll see what I can dig up.

Single pump just fine on pump gas.

On E85 you will be somewhat limited.

Even with that turbo? I have friends that have gone well into the 10s on E85 with 61mm T3s and a single Walbro pump. They have to be making 550+

On our dyno, the 8/9's max out the single pump around 460-470whp. We have had one that didn't max out till around 490whp, only difference he had was upgraded fuel rail and return line.

On the 10, they seem to max out much much sooner, which I still think is odd. The last Evo 10 with a Dom 2 maxed out the single pump at a little over 410 whp on our dyno. Tried swapping a bunch of different stuff as I thought there was no way it should at that level. After a bunch of stuff that did nothing, we put a double pumper in and all was good with the world again and the car ended up making 450whp. That 10 had AFPR and fuel rail, even with single pump.

There is no way a single walbro pump would sustain 550+ on any Evo on E85 on our dyno.

Good to know. Was a bit worried about running into maxing out the 255L.

Thanks Bryan.

Nice!

Looking at the BC 272 Stage 2 Cams and springs w/retainers myself. But that probably wont come till the summer. Will do cams, clutch packs, and cooler this summer then she will be running purrrrfect!

The Evo 9 Mivec BC cams where horrible. I would stick to cosworth or kelford for the 10.

Anyone herd or have any info on the new Cosworth Stage 2 Cams?
