The T1R, TWM, Mode, and Works are all name brand short shift kits. So all of them will do what they say they will do (reduce the throw). It is obvious from the previous posts, that the throw reduction on the fixed shifters (TWM, T1R, Works) are similar, if not identical.

For the price, I think T1R fits the bill. ($70 shipped) Thats with out a discount or holiday price drop. Its an all day/all year low price. It sounds like a Target commercial.

Here is my setup, short shifter, shiftknob, shiftboot, all from T1R
It's feel good after installed. need a little more effort to shift than the orginal one, but not reduce so much height than the TWM do. i believe TWM will have a better looking and shifting feel....

The condition of your floor mats hurts me.

I'll have a brand new (just received last week) TWM short shifter up for sale if anybody here is interested. Will be making a FS post soon.

Nothing wrong with it, but long story short 2 Evo's do not need 3 short shifter kits and TWM would charge me a $25 restocking fee.

Mode is height and throw adjustable,

I ran theirs (it was Cobb then) in my WRX and can't go wrong with it...

I've used both Cobb and TWM STS's. The TWM shifter just feels right. The throw and position is perfect, no need to mess around with adjustabilty settings to try and find a good balance.
