Raise launch ctrl with FP Red?

I'l be getting an FP Red installed soon and was wondering if i should go ahead and have them increase the launch ctrl? If so, to what?

If it was me i would wait till i have the red installed do a launch and see if it bogs or not then adjust accordingly.

You could do 6K if you want. Mine is set to 6k with the stock turbo. I see about 8-10psi off the line and usually end up spinning.

Not sure how it would be affected on the red as spool up times are different. But if you are already boosting off the line, then you will have plenty of power. The question is can you keep it from spinning?

I would really suggest, if your going to do a lot of launching, you should really prepare your drive train! I know Bushur makes some center differential pin up grades, and I would worry about that as much as anything else. Broken tranny is not fun!

I wouldn't increase it, it will just spin big time. I lowered mine on the stock turbo down to 5k from the 5468 or whatever the stock one was because even at 5k i was getting a fair amount of wheel spin and that's with my direzza star specs in the stock size. Granted this is on the street, at the track I'm sure it would hook at 5.5k
