Evo x mr touring mods????

hey peeps, im not a car person so im just going to start asking question here. i just bought an evo x mr touring and i love it, though i need help and good advice. ive never had a car like this so im new to it. any advice what modification i can do to this car? its fast enough but i want it to go faster what should i do to it to add hp or torque? thanks..

Oh no, not this again. Do some searching on here as there are so many evo X parts that can make the MR faster. Most evo X GSR parts are interchangeable with the MR, except clutch/transmission mods. Basic bolt-ons will make the car quick. Other than that the SST transmission will limit the amount of torque you throw at it after some heavy mods. Also look at the vendor FS sections. #1 thing to do is research first don't post a vague thread like this.

What color is your evo?I live in bakersfield too.Every tuesday's there is a awd meet at different places usually around 7pm.I don't know if you go to it already cuz I haven't went in a while but if you don't go to those,let me know and I'll let you know where it is at.At the meet it's mainly evo's and subie's,but anyone is welcome.

its a black pearl. and nope i havent been to any meet.... but since you mentioned it, i might go one of this days... and i could start asking what they would think i could do to it....

For me, personally, the most important mod was the exhaust, which I've just ordered. My MR is fast, though I've had various degrees of fast over the years including a 4 second Porsche 911 and a big ole E55 that could blow the doors off a lot of cars. To me, a performance car should have a good exhausat note to add to the experience. I find the fact that the EVO doesn't, a bit of a puzzle. Once I have the sound I'm looking for, I'll follow the great advice given in this forum to tweak more and more speed out of it.
