MBC to OEM boost control help needed.
MBC to OEM boost control help needed.
I've bought my X pre owned, and it came with a MBC already installed. After research, I definately want to go to the OEM boost control setup for my tune or flash. I'm not sure how this MBC was setup exactly, but I can clearly see the lines from the MBC going to the wastegate and turbo compressor outlet. I'm a bit confused on what exactly was removed from the solenoids. Here is a pic of how it stands currently (can provide more pics if needed, the lines above are going to the MBC):

Now, I can't find any definate information, but tell me if I'm wrong here. If I get OEM boost lines in the same form as in this picture from GST, I should be able to just disconnect my MBC with all lines and replace with new assembly as diagramed, correct? Am I missing anything else here to go back to complete OEM boost control?
GST Diagram:

I also found this .PDF from Cobb showing how to remove a boost pill from the stock setup. I noticed that all four solenoid nipples have hoses attached. If I end up getting an OEM assembly, or one like in the GST picture, only two of my solenoids will be connected. This is the main part I'm confused about, and some help would greatly be appreciated. Here is a pic of all four hoses connected from Cobb's document:

Lastly, in search for the part(s) needed, I sent a request to Mitusparts.net and got a quick respone with the following part #.:
http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/cart/?id=571&pn=1632A315
I'm hoping that will include everything I need, but confirmation would be great. I'm confused on how GST can sell an aftermarket kit for around $45 and this OEM "kit" is almost $90.
Thanks for reading, all comments and suggestions are welcome. Any pics or diagrams would be even better. I went through this whole "guess my mods" thing with my VIII, but this will be the final mystery on my X! Help me get it back to stock boost please...thanks!

More images from work I've done to mine:
Solenoids removed:
The lines on the left - red hooks to the waste gate actuator and the other on the turbo. My intake has separate lines for each solenoid input, stock would tee them to 1.

Here is my 3 port installed:
Simpler because I just run 1 line to the waste gate actuator and another line to the turbo.

Stock system is a bleed system, where the solenoids use vacuum to try to remove some of the boost going from the turbo to the WGA. A 3 port just modulates the boost going from the turbo to the WGA. Simple and works better. The stock system has the advantage of a fail safe.
