is the AEM the only carb approved intake, i want the injen but dont want to deal with the cops out here being ****'s about carb certs if i get pulled over. IS there any intake that is carb approved that you will be able to hear the turbo, more like the injen?

 

On the box of the injen it says, CARB certified or pending... I live in Michigan where cops don't check anything like that.
On the bright side, if you decide to order the Injen intake, you'll love it... It looks really nice in my engine bay

 

oh ok cuz i like injen but on their website it doesnt say anything about being carb pending or anything, they left the box blank

 

just buy a fake sticker or print one out from google and go to a sticker shop.....

i haven't verified on mine yet, but might be able to leave the cover off the aem and have the same effect, but with better shielding from engine air. or just leave the box off completely, but then you might need a shield against the radiator fan air.

 

the COBB SFI is also CARB certified if I remember correctly.
