So I have looked everywhere for a 2010 Short Ram Intake that is California Carb legal. I know AEM, Injen and K&N make 50 state legal intakes but none of them have intakes for 2010 RA's.

What is everyone else using?

 

If you do the "do-it-yourself" short-ram intake from the How-To section, you should have your exhaust gas unchanged since the diameter in the MAF Housing is practicaly the same.

As long as your ECU can properly compute the amount of air that gets in the engine, you should be ok.

 

Why doesn't the 09 one fit the 2010?

 

intakes for 2009 should fit 2010 no problem because the engine design is the same

 

All the intakes I found where for 09

 

as far as i understand 08+ parts for ralliart all the same, nothing should be different. Its all the same trim line.

 

yeah, they probably didnt update the sites
all the parts for 09 RA will fit 2010's

 

I called AEM and they said they can't "verify" it fits the 2010.

 

I think you actually meant to say 09+ parts rather than 08+ parts. The Ralliart didn't come with a turbo until 2009. That's why the name of our forum on this website is "09+ Lancer Ralliart General".......

There just not 100% sure if anything changed on the 2010. Don't worry all the changes has been cosmetically dashtrim, LCD screen, etc. Nothing performance wise, you should be good to go.

 

lol actually i was going based on new body style of lancers, i forgot our cars came out in 09 lol but ya he would saw that eventually lol
