If it does, don't be cheap... just get them. I always bought one when I used to do oil changes on my VIII and IX. I don't know on the X because I'm too busy to do oil changes myself anymore.

Changed out my fluids this past weekend and the whole process wasn't bad. However, my tranny doesn't feel any better as far as the notchyness... Dare I say, especially when cold it's a little worse.. Anybody else have a similar experience or did your transmission feel better?

amsoil will probably take longer than diaqueen to warm up... hence the cold trouble

Sorry if this is not appropriate.
I switched from MTG/SVG to RL MT90/shockproof light, much better when cold & feels smoother too.

my gas mileage stayed the same with AMSoil engine oil, but it did seem to go up just a bit more after a tranny and TC fluid change... I am doing the diff oil soon and using AMSoil for that as well.

Just wanted to bump this. Any members out there running Amsoil in the TC and Diff that can chime in? Anyone running these for an extended period of time? I want to change all these fluids soon and it seems that finding the Diaqueen stuff is like pulling teeth so I'm just trying to see if Amsoil is working ok. I've heard conflicting information.

I'm running it. I swapped all my fluids to AMSOIL.

But I have a 2010 with ~6k miles. I doubt you'd call that an extended amount of time. Fluids were changed at ~5k.

I did AMSOIL at 2k in my X. Didn't like it. Switched over to a Redline MTL/MT90 mix and it's smoother; like AMSOIL warmed up, right off the bat. YMMV.
