Center Diff Pins

I have been roaming the different forums, and keep reading horror stories about the center diff pins shearing and backing out. I would like to see who has had this problem, and the info about their car.

How many miles on the car when it happened?
Mods?
Driving style (Track, strip, street, etc. . .)

Just trying to figure out if I should worry, and start saving just in case this happens to me.

16k no issues, but like you, I'm worried about it. I'm pretty easy on the car. Only a couple of launches, I shift pretty hard between gears. I plan to upgrade them when it comes time for a clutch...just to be safe.

^That's exactly what I plan on doing. I just hope I can make it to that, or, is this an overhyped problem that only affects tracked/abused cars?

Buschur doesn't have it listed on their page. Just call them.

For that matter, neither does Shep. Again, just call.

Welding in the gearbox? Hmmm...
Is it better anywhere over the pins replacement except the cost?
