He meant the SSP master cylinder.

And evidently the seals or something are bad in them, and the plunger hits, and it eventually will fail. They're re-issuing new ones or something, so there's a fix, but, yeah.

I don't have a X, and if I did, it wouldn't make a difference. I bought my Evo to drive. The stance or any other appearance-driven ricer bullsh1t is of no consideration, whatsoever. Others, of course, are free to do with their cars as they wish.
I agree, but with the stock suspension set up, it rolls like a fat girl in jello. Add larger wheels/tires for more grip, to ya know, DRIVE the car, and the stance of the vehicle looks even more hilarious. Even if you DON'T care what it looks like, upgrading to larger rims and tires makes the damn thing look down right stupid without a drop.

And springs, if done right, can enhance the appearance. There's a difference between Swifts and performance 265s, and like some slammed out ***** of a car and all-season 285s, just for appearance. Like any other car that attracts young males, though, the X is bound to gets its fair share of ricer *******s.

More grip? On the street? In a car that can pull over a G steady-state? C'mon.

Unfortunately, you're making the car slower (again, on the street) in every way by needlessly piling on the rotational mass, then limiting its suspension travel and reducing compliance. Hell, you're not even approaching the car's perceived deficiency from the right direction. I like your posts and I really don't want to get into this with you, so I'm unsubscribing. Good luck.

Well, you're right of course; for most people, wider rims and tires do nothing but add rotational mass and slow the car on the street. It's a missed point by most people.

However, there comes a point when the 245s show their limit. Do most people reach that? Of course not. Do some? Sure. Do the number of people buying huge tires and rims equal the amount of people approaching said limit of 245s?

Negatory.

Now then, here's a picture of me and a friend.

We approach the limit when running drugs. Cause we be hard core. (Note: I'm the white guy above)

I have also learned that nearly every thread on EvoM should receive a Fast and Furious graphic.

Well, if you look at SSP's website, one of the seals is actually really thin compared to the other. On the one I received in the mail, both of the seals are just as wide, so I'm guessing I got the fixed version. oh god please please please.

Hey are you making fun of my setup? HULK SAD !!!!
I have 18X9.5 + 22 with RE11 in 265 35 on stock suspension and the setup does look good.

No, I have a black one with black wheels. Subaru eats at my restaurant every day. The president comes once every week usually.

No, it doesn't. I had my Grids, 18x9.5 + 20 w/ Hankooks 265/35/18 on for a few days without the springs on, and it doesn't look good.

but, since we each have our own opinion on the matter, I'm just going to level a blanket insult at you and declare myself the victor: You smell and I rock the ****.

It does if they buy heavy rims & tires. My Summer combo is lighter than the Winter (stock rims).
