Yeah I like todo as much myself as possible... I really need a hoist at home but my better half would kill me I think
Neither mate, I'm Indian. I was there to do my Masters in Swinburne. I graduated in 2004 with Masters in Network Systems and moved to the US since all my family lives here now.

I agree about the hoist. I think the most decent ones go for about 5K in the US. Not too sure about Aus though.

As for the labor, what kind of numbers are we talking about? It should be no more than 800 AUD I hope just for the Clutch. For the Diff Pins, you might need to add more.

Chris, can I adjust the clutch pedal free play, there's too much of it.

In the attached pictures, "clutch pedal 1.jpg" has measurement B, this is what I am talking about:

I think there's way too much of it on mine, almost 25mm to 30mm

here's a quick video ( dont mind the "uhhhh" sounds, damn that thing is hard when I use my arm to depress it)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_IMwEWA9mU

Looking at "clutch pedal 2.jpg", can you tell if this is something I can adjust myself, and if so, which portion of it needs adjustment?

did you leave the restrictor pill in, if you remove that the pedal will engage lower..

The pill is out, the engagement point is really low now.

hmmm.. I dont have a problem with the engagement point. I've already got used to it now. Its the extra length I gotta depress the clutch for no reason before I even experience resistance from the cylinder. I'll give it some time.

tephra is correct, there is no adjustment on the X's clutch pedal. I sent you a PM regarding this.

Thank you for the reply Chris, I'll stop by when I get a chance to see if there's anything that can be done.

Indian like Casino or Indian like Dunkin Donuts/7-11/Motel. Given you are in IT, I will guess the latter.

Not to worry, I am the same kind of Indian

Hey that's stereotyping man!!!!!

By the way, anyone who usually asks me that question only gets one answer.

"There's only one type of Indians, and its the ones from India. All the others are ones trying to pass off as Indians because we so cool ".
