so I changed my clutch for an exedy cerametalic clutch about 1500 miles ago, did the break in according to instructions. after all of this time the clutch is still grinding in first gear, i feel a very fast vibration on the pedal and then feel like the rear end wants to come loose just after i finish letting of the clutch.

so half the time it feels like that and half the time it is very smooth, and shifting is smooth either way.

I did take the restrictor pill out and i still have to points of engagment on the clutch, some times about at mid travel and sometimes a little higher.

also note that sometimes the clutch sounds as if i had the handbrake up when accelretating from a full stop.

But the vibrating/grinding i feel in first gear, and worst when i feel the rear of the car as if it was struggling to start going.


any suggestions on what to look for?
