apparently the RS rear

OR supertraction front and rears at the way to go.

probably be a bit more than cusco.

also the RS rear is either VERY cheap (just the diff) or VERY expensive (diff + housing + bits)

Jon@HB was asking me about it recently...

ok i gave some bad info.

apparently for a GSR OR MR you CANNOT replace the rear diff without also replacing the computers...

that or its basically turn the car into an RS, by disabling ABS as well

hrmm I talked to a guy that knows a lot about this sort of stuff and apparently the spring types arn't that great.

cone is better, but not sure if the cone is AYC compatible..

he did say that the supertraction front is SAWC compatible, and shouldn't cause any problems with it...

it really depends on what you are doing...

circuit racing is a LOT different from autox and requires different car setup INCLUDING diffs..

Evo's have a decent setup for most things, but if you want to specialise you gotta pay to play

yep exactly and i can't get any real firm answers on which route they went . If they used a non-ayc cusco evo x diff and just eliminated the hydro or however its controlled , or if they put a evo 9 rear end under the car and ran the cusco rear diff for a evo9. I do know they eliminated the ayc though.

You may also want to give the folks over at the DriveShaft shop a holler and see what they are working on for the X

Queue the FnF sound clip...

This is an interesting thread since I'm thinking about drivetrain work over the Winter.
