Silent catback ?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a quiet catback I can use with TP or HFC and doesn't steel me horsepower

I've heard Milltek and they are OK from the loudness but sounds horrible like a hoover.

Would like to have a dual pipe Version and every suggestions welcome... Maybe with a Vid without also OK.

Thanks

Peter

The Tanabe medalion touring exhaust is pretty quiet. But gives a nice growl... Unless you want super quiet then you might as well keep stock lol.

Specialty-X with the optional Y-pipe resonators would be very quiet. If you are running an HFC then don't bother with the extra resonators! It sounds sporty but is quieter than a typical V8 or motorcycle.

I have the catback without the extra resonators and it sounded great with an hfc -- I had the quietest Evo with an upgraded exhaust in my area. With a test pipe you'd probably want the resonators but it's still quieter than many systems.

You could just mod the stock muffler too, some people have been doing that with success.

Only After Market exhaust to guarantee sound levels below 93db is the Cobb one.

Check out the GReddy Spectrum Elite catback and the Magnaflow dual exit catback.

The Magnaflow is cheap and offers some minor gains in power while still being incredibly quiet. Maybe only a couple decibels louder than stock. You can probably pick one up here on the forum vendors for just around 500 for the entire catback set. The GReddy SE also offers gains in power, but is just a bit louder. It is however a bit more expensive, as you can find one on here for about 950.

I really like this exhaust, I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Dude, you gotta search. This topic has been discussed so many times, it's kinda silly.

A simple search for "quiet exhaust" returned hundreds of results. Knock yourself out
