Typically we charge 750 for this port job. There was a little bit of a learning curve on this one since the actual aluminum is far harder than the 4G63s and it took a different bit (read harder) and more time. There was some other things we were doing at the same time (valves, cams, lap it all in) but that is the port work cost anyway.

Turn around is about a week if all we are doing is pulling valves, porting, putting it back together.

Sounds good, I'll keep you guys in mind for when my head comes off, and there is a project car I'm speccing out for a friend that is targeting 600+ whp that would benefit from such portwork.

Damn aaron, A+ job from English Racing again. I wish I didn't have so many hobbies. I'd just hand my X to Aaron and Lucas and say... make. go. fast.

Did you guys flow it before and will you flow it when its done? Getting a bit in that exhaust side sucks ***** huh?

We have no access to a flowbench. The way we do heads relies on forethought and experience so while this might be the first X head, its not the first head we have done

Exhaust porting is crucial on the X for power.
