What Size Injectors For 600whp E85

What size injectors are needed to safely reach 600 whp on E85 on a stingy dyno (gst mustang or DD)? Will 1400cc work, I would like to keep duty cycles below 90%.

Should be fine. If your car will be E85-only then you might just want to go with ID2000's and be done with it.

DW1300's should work well and are drop in plug and play.

Once you are using that much fuel, the fuel delivery system is very important too. What are your plans for fuel delivery?

Thanks, is there a nice injector calculator out there for e85, I have a bunch of pump gas calculators but none for e85.

255 intank and ams inline pump.

I get tuned on Gst's Dyno as well..Around the same power range you are shooting for get some FIC 2150s and call it day..

I tihnk the 1450s will be fine if thats what you got..but your IDC may be getting close to 90%

Do not do this, save your money...

The AMS inline will not get you 600whp on E85, they rate it at like 500whp for E85 you will need a double pump setup, or a 255 in tank feeding a bigger pump inline.

Do not bother upgrading the rail, the stock ones work great, unless you want looks. The FPR can be upgraded but honestly, just put a fuel pressure gauge in there and be done with it.

DW sent me some DW1300cc that flow 1400cc so that is what I am using for my E85 build.

What about this as my inline:

http://www.atlanticspeed.com/product...&idcategory=10

I have used these before on hondas and never had problem at 500 whp mustang dyno, but never built a honda over 500, so not sure on the 600. I want to avoid the double pumper intank if I can.

well i stand corrected not trying to thread jack or anything but i didnt think the stock rail could handle anything up to 500whp. first thing guys in ctx did with their evos when they turned the boost up was changed the rail and no one did it for show. but they are running 800 and 1000 DW inj. i didnt know that the 1300s flowed like 1400s, learned something new today

Not sure on that pump, no idea how much it flows.

500whp on E85 though? Remember the in tank pump will have to support enough to power the inline one, so that is why I said 255 intank feeding a big inline one.

I think a lot of people use bosch 044 inline.

Most of the big 35R builds are stock rail. I don't think the limit has been found. I replaced mine for looks.

Every injector comes with a flow sheet. Nothing flows exactly what they are rated. murlo26 asked DW to send him a set of 1300 'freaks' that happen to flow 1400, since they don't sell a 1400 injector.

This. MDR sells a kit both with and without a surge tank.

They are famous for being noisy, but they work. It's what I ended up with.
