ok im in the market for a turbo kit for my evo x.

I see two kit that i can't really decide which one to buy.

First is the ETS t3 turbo kit and the second one is ETS t3 twin scroll turbo kit.

How much hp are those kits good up to?

what is a safe hp running the ets turbo kit with stock injectors, and what should i use for tuning.

 

Your going to need bigger injectors. You could spend less money on the turbo (i.e. an FP) and get injectors and it still might be cheaper than the ETS.

 

so i can't run this kit with stock injectors?

 

I'd wait on the HKS BB, or possibly the BBX-Lite.

 

Yeah you can if you keep the boost at like 15psi, which is a waste of $5,000.

Actually 20 PSI. Ran the GT35R HTA at that pressure on stock injectors temporarily as I was tracking down a different issue. Went static at 20 lbs easily. I assume this guy has upgraded IC, Lower IC pipe, test pipe, catback wideband and is using opensource?

 

ETS kits are nice. I should have gone that route for my manifold. I went with Peak Boost but took 3 months to get the manifold. The other pieces were fabbed up on the car. Came out VERY nice and to my specs.

 

sideway, which turbo are you planning on using in conjunction with either kit? The turbo is ultimately going to be the deciding factor...not the kit itself.

You will need bigger injectors. I am running DW 1000's. You will need 1400 to 2000's if you go E85. Are you planning on a 3586 or 3582?

 

Why do you want to run a 35r on the stock injectors? If you're going to shell out 5k, just get some injectors too.

I think you need to decide what you are looking for in a turbo, and then evaluate how much money you want to throw at the car.
