Question about Magnaflow CBE

I read some of the thread but didn't have recent review on it.

For the price and quiet sound I think its the best I can have.

But can I have good gain with it like the other CBE ?

When you check the pictures, you can see the tubing that isn't like the muffler and pipes ( chrome ) I know they say full stainless, but Im scared that it will not last long cuz of the winter. Am I scared for nothing ?

And is there good vids anywhere with this exhaust and a test-pipe ? I check youtube but didn't find anything relevent.

So you guys with the magnaflow, talk to me lol

thanks

I have the Magnaflow and love it; I had the UR first and absolutely hated it. The Magnaflow has a much smoother tone and doesn't resonate at all. It is full stainless steel and includes a lifetime warranty so you have nothing to worry about. No other exhausts are chrome, they are just polished stainless steel (like the Magnaflow muffler and tips). I had the 2.5" neckdown cut off and replaced with a full 3" flange so it mates up to my 3" testpipe. You definitely can't beat the price either...

Have you considered a Buschur crossflow instead of the Magnaflow?

Similar sound; but the Buschur is full 3", more ground clearance, better bends... info I got from a thread very very similar to this one.

...and double the price. The ground clearance and bends are the same between the two systems.

I dunno, I saw pics of the two systems installed side by side and the magnaflow hung lower. Perhaps the camera angle was different.

I'll work on finding the thread...

Here ya go:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ics-video.html

Thread quote from DavidBuschur (talking about difference between his system and Magnaflow)
The ground clearance on the Magnaflow is lower than ours. The weight of the Magnaflow is heavier than ours. Our bends are slightly less severe than Magnaflows. On top of those things, if you buy from us you are buying from a vendor who contributes to this site.

The perrin exhaust is rather tame compared to others as well. I very well might be selling my turboback soon if you have any interest...

I have install the Magnaflow CBE in January, and drove the car all winter. The system is perfect- for the money. Nice tone- not a cop caller and fits really well.

I recommend it easy.
