Making the move from stock->FP Black...
I would suggest having a daily if you are going to run that turbo. Its not an if you will blow your motor its a when. I am running a red and goign to a 5857 with a built motor in January.
The problem with going with a large turbo and not using it to its full potential is you are getting the lag without the top end. I would go with a red for what you are wanting.

Injectors are too small. FMIC sounds too small. I'm pretty sure that intake uses the stock MAF housing and that will be too small.
Trust me, you don't want the lousy spool + low power because your supporting mods weren't well thought out.
My advice is to wait and let some other people make the expensive mistakes. Put the turbo on the shelf for a few months.
Murlo and I both went through expensive f-ups (Red & BBX, respectively) so this isn't just idle talk.

I just installed my FP Black on a stock motor with basically every supporting bolt-on possible; Buschur sold me the turbo and a stock WGA and it WOULD NOT HOLD BOOST....do not get a stock 9 or lower spring'd WGA, make sure to get the WGA that comes standard with the Black (25psi).
The car wouldnt build full boost until 6,000 rpm. First pull after installing a higher spring'd (Forge Motorsport) unit we were building full boost around 4300-4500.

Yup.. I just purchased most of my parts recently. I dont find it necessary for me to re-purchase those parts again so soon. Maybe next year I'll get the BLACK, but for now Ill play with the RED..
if your on a stock motor go with a black. But i heard if ur gonna fully build it go with a hta 86 or 37r sumtin like that. My boy just sold the black and went with hta 86 and says its so much better and alot more fun. Same turbo i have and ext gate and bushur manifold. Just so u have an opinion of someone that owned one
