HKS GT3240 Kit???

SO I have had my eye on this kit for some time now (HKS GT3240)... But I have only had like 1 or 2 people post legitimate # on this kit. I want to see if there anymore of you Sleeping HKS guys running this kit and what numbers you're putting down plus what supporting mods are you running to get those numbers... PICS WOULD BE AMAZING!!!

I have searched on a couple of different forums and I haven't found what I'm looking for.....something to justify spending that much money.
I'm not gunna lie I do have my heart set on this kit though, I'm not going FP... I want something different.
Let me know guys,
Thanks!!!

Hi there,

I have GT3240 kit installed, and I made 453WHP/500WTQ on verrry hot day (38Celsius) on a Mustang dyno.

Supporting mods:
HKS race intake
HKS UICP, LICP, FMIC
75mm test pipe
HKS HI-Power exhaust (I had HKS legamax but that limited power to 433WHP)
Apexi ATS (I think this kills some horses, but makes exhaust very quiet at idle)
HKS forged pistons
HKS forged steel piston rods
HKS camshafts
HKS head gasket
HKS race spark plugs (necessary when i switched from legamax to high power)
HKS 1000cc injectors, HKS fuel rail, HKS pressure regulator
upgraded fuel pump (don't remember brand for the moment)
Perrin 3 port boost solenoid
Custom tune
99 octane european ( i think it's 93 US )

^^ For a mustang dyno, I think those numbers are about right.

The GT3240 is rated 580HP by HKS. I think 453WHP is about there.

The 500WTQ is no comparison to the stock turbo. Starting from the moment of full spool it gets to peak power at 7400RPM so fast that I had to install a shift light because i was over-revving all the time.

I think I can get more power with a more aggressive tune, but the quality of the gas out here is very low (expect 10% of added water to boost the profits of the gas stations) so I have to protect the engine.

That's insane! I would NOT drive my car with crap like that in it. Especially if it was a beast like yours!

Here is the power graph. I asked the guys to send me the boost graph too. I'll post it as soon as I get it.

Pictures won't help much. The GT3420 sits deep down and you can't see much. The mechanic that installed it told me that if I will need a clutch replacement he will think twice before doing it because he will have to take out the GT3420 too.

Were did you find a tach signal for your shift light? I have been wanting to install one for the same reasons.
