When do YOU switch into s-sport mode?

The owners manual says "to switch into S-SPORT have the car in "D" and while car is STOPPED switch into s-sport mode."

"when switching out of s-sport car can be moving/stopped"

"when switch to sport mode car can be moving/stopped"

so basically my question is, although the manual says to switch into s-sport when car is stopped only, does anyone just switch while driving? can switching while driving cause damage? i ONLY switch in when stopped because i dont want to damage the trans and god knows my warranty was voided long ago, BUT theres times when im on the highway or around town and i need to "put another car in check" if you know what i mean.

i only ask this because i find it a little funny that you can switch into sport while driving but not s-sport.

soo...does anyone switch into s-sport while driving?

if so, any issues?

thanks..

You have to be stopped to go into s-sport.

I usually never to into s-sport. Sport mode is good enough for me and I'll use the shift knob.

Tried it and it didn't work while driving.. Only takes like 5 seconds to try it. If it doesn't switch, then you know.
