Magnus sells a cost effective option that appears to be more reliable.

I run the SSP, and love it. It was easy to install and it works great. Their first version was a epic failer, but the new second version is awesome.

You have 3 options, the SSP, Magnus, or an Evo IX conversion.

Stay away from the SSP... failures keep happening even with their Version 2 CMC.

Go Magnus which is an EVO 9 conversion for a semi plug play system.

^^^ From Magnus, it is NOT a EVO 9 conversion. They wont say what it is but it works. All they say is that it a sourced CMC.

Magnus does use an Evo 9 MC...trust me. I had to replace my magnus master and we ordered it from Mitsu to do it.

I'm debating buying a new master cylinder just to avoid potential issues... then sometimes I think about trying the AMS reinforcement kit, any takers on this?

Just order the magnus kit! I have a brand new AMS ring unopened I'll let go for $40 shipped...
I couldnt use the ring as my master cylinder was already broke...
