Their system is indeed a full 3", just the muffler outlets are 2.5"

I had Legamax and it was very quiet;Legamax is 65mm in diameter and it reached its limit at 423WBHP. When I switched to Hi-Power the car picked up 30WHP but it was too noisy due to 75mm piping. I silenced it with a pair of Apexi ATS (the 115mm silencers) which fitted perfectly on Hi-power tips and I am happy with this setup.
My 2c.

Running a dual 2.5" is over 3.5" in diameter when combined for exhaust flow. Your not going to have a restriction at all.

I have the legamax and am enjoying the near stock sound. With a hi-flo cat, it just has a little more rumble..... came of a really loud exhaust before.

All of the systems you listed are very good. I was in the same boat as you when i was looking. I setteled on the CP-E exhaust. Little louder than stock while cruising and when you step on it, you definately know it is there, so do others. I used You tube to listen to differnt exhausts. They wont be exactly what it sounds like based on many variables, but you'll get the idea. Good Luck with whatever you decide on.

Everyone says the HIPO isn't that loud, but I wonder if they are referring to the USDM one or the JDM Silent version.

The USDM one. It has a nice rumble when starting out or when you get on it, but the exhaust is near silent when cruising. I also noticed after getting tuned it actually became almost unoticeable on the car. Also after hearing a lot of the exhausts at Englishtown, I liked the Hi-Power the best...it sounds like an exotic car versus just a loud engine.

Thank you all, it was easier to decide, after replies like ("it sounds like an exotic car versus just a loud engine") ! I have decided and already ordered Hi power+ams (resonated) test pipe +ams DP, ams ic+ pipping+greddy Boostcontroller. How much whp i can expect after reflashing my ecu with these mods?

Thanks for the clarification I'm really looking forward to it too.

My 2c.
Can you add any more info on how you are finding the silencer? Any photos of how it looks as well? I'm just conscious in case the Hi-Power exhaust is too loud, it's good to know that there are silencers available which fit nicely!

The exhaust is very very quiet when valves are closed. It's perfect for city driving.
At higher loads ( WOT, turbine spooling) they open and exhaust gets noisier (as with no silencer) .

Usually people looking at your exhaust tips go WTF ???? I get to see lots of funny faces in the mirrors.
