To build or run the stock block?

To build or run the stock block?
Ok here's the situation.
2 motors - 1 blown (rod bearing, block is mint), 1 stock and running
For a FP Red equipped car that'll be taken to the track (the one with turns) and aiming for 400whpish - what to do?
Build the motor and sell the stocker or sell the block and run the stocker. Will it hold up? Mainly driven on the highway but driven about 30k miles per year.
Each option has 1 stupid concern:
- can the stock block hold the power for a longer period
- can the built block hold the mileage
If I'd decide to build it, I'd probably go with just forged internals but keep it 2liters.
