I'm getting the FP Black soon and I'm wondering if the install is as straight forward as re-installing the stock turbo... I know for the Black there are different oil lines... but other than those is there any heat shield trimming or any other modifications that has to be done to make this turbo fit? I'm just preparing myself for the install. Thanks!

Still stock frame, so if you've pulled the turbo before, you'll be fine.

Unless you have a built motor and head the black is going to be to big on a DD and you more.then likely wont get into the sweet spot of the black which is above 30psi. There are 8 & 9 guys downgradeing to a red as its to much for a stock motor. Im not familiar with the X so maybe yours are better.
